Hi guys!

Today there is a special post on the blog which features how you can make the most of your wardrobe. It is something we all struggle with so I know you will enjoy it.

If we had a dollar for every time each of us claimed to have nothing to wear, that we hate our clothes, or need to go shopping for a new wardrobe, we’d all be millionaires. However, if you take a closer look at everything you own, you’ll notice that you have an endless number of outfit combos at your disposal. One of the founders of the StyleBook app explains after a bit of editing here and there, “I was surprised to realize I could come up with over 70 outfits using only what I already owned (about 50 clothing items, including accessories.” If it was possible for her, there’s no reason why you can’t add new twists to garments you currently have in your closet.

There is also no reason to spend half of your bank account to look good. Since looking good begins with a great fit, according to plus size clothing brand, Woman Within, the easiest way to upgrade your style is by reworking what you’ve already got, and altering the way that you normally would dress yourself for the day.

Here are a few ideas on how to revamp your wardrobe:

update your wardrobe

Roll up your pants and sleeves
So simple yet so effective, changing the hemline of your jeans and unbuttoning and rolling up your sleeves gives you room to show off your accessories. The aesthetic appeal of your heels shouldn’t be masked by your pants, and the same goes for your swanky watch or delicate charm bracelets when it comes to your button downs. Pop Sugar says that these little tricks will instantly insert a cool factor into your style.

Wear your feminine jacket as a top
Jackets or cardigans with ladylike prints, similar to what is shown on Who What Wear, also work great as tops when you zip them all the way up. Wear them with shorts, skirts, pants, whatever feels right for you.

Swap your statement necklaces for silk scarves
The beauty of the silk scarf is in the functionality, allowing us to wear it in the winter to keep us warm, as well as the summer as it’s quite light and breezy. But this summer, try playing around with different knots and necktie styles in place of your bold jewelry. Check out Texere Silk for new ways to wrap your scarf this season.
